Why SellerBeam now has a paid plan

I built SellerBeam for my own sourcing. It solved a problem I had every day, so I put it out for free and hoped a few people would find it useful.

A lot more of you did than I expected.

Every product the sidebar loads makes real calls to the Amazon and Keepa APIs, and those cost money. As more people started using it, those costs grew past what I can cover on the side.

I didn't want to put the whole thing behind a paywall. People found this tool because it was free to try, and I'd rather keep that open.

From now on: 10 product searches a day, free. If you need more, the Paid plan is $19.99 a month for unlimited searches.

I picked 10 by looking at how the tool actually gets used. Most people will never hit it. The ones who do are running through hundreds of products a week, and that is where nearly all the cost comes from. Fair enough that those users cover it so everyone else keeps using the tool for nothing.

Questions

What counts as a search?

Opening a product page with the sidebar active. Browsing search results, category pages, or your own listings costs nothing. Only products you actually look at count toward the 10.

What happens when I hit the daily limit?

The sidebar tells you the limit is reached and stops loading new product data. Nothing breaks, and your allowance resets at midnight UTC.

Do I need a card to try it?

No. New accounts get their first month with unlimited searches, no card required. After that you drop to the Free plan automatically. You are never charged unless you choose to upgrade.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from your dashboard in two clicks. You keep unlimited access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then move back to Free. No cancellation fee, no email required.

What happens to my Amazon connection?

Nothing changes. Connecting your seller account is optional on both plans, stays read-only, and is what powers the eligibility check.
